Sexual Assault Awareness Month Candlelight Vigil

April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month. 1 in 3 women and 1 in 4 men will experience some form of physical sexual violence during their lifetime. Join the Laurel Center Intervention for Domestic and Sexual Violence for our hybrid vigil. We will gather at the Front Royal gazebo at the corner of Main & Chester St on April 14th, 2022 to honor survivors of sexual violence. Program begins at 7pm. Candles will be provided. The vigil in Front Royal will also be live streamed on The Laurel Center Facebook page.

Those unable to gather at Front Royal are encouraged to participate in their homes. Free luminaries for at-home participants will be available for pickup at Good Things for a Good Purpose the week prior to the vigil. (Weekly hours or Good Things available at facebook.com/goodthingsforagoodpurpose)
