Welcome to the
Laurel Center
Intervention for Domestic & Sexual Violence
Sexual Assault Awareness Month is April and we need your help.
This year, we are asking for your stories and your commitment. Stories about your experience with sexual assault or loving someone who has experienced it. Your commitment to taking an active role in stopping sexual violence before it begins. You can help us in one of three ways. Click on the links below to participate:
- What Was I Wearing:: Describe the clothing you were wearing when you experienced sexual violence to help us dispel the myth that clothing is the cause for sexual assault.
- Share Your Story: We believe that stories are powerful and have the ability to build understanding, cultivate empathy, and ultimately create change. Your Story Matters.
- Take the Pledge: Pledge to take an active role in believing survivors and supporting them on their road to healing
